SYNOPSIS:
Struggling author Michael Palmer retreats with his wife to a secluded country home, hoping to reignite his stalled career. There, he encounters a mysterious presence that feeds his imagination, inspiring a novel unlike anything he’s ever written. But as the pages pile up, Michael’s grip on reality begins to slip—his “muse” growing more seductive, more dangerous, and far less human than he ever imagined.
Soon Michael’s wife Pacey is drawn in by the evil presence, preying upon her own deepest desires and regrets. The Palmers quickly discover that you can’t just dip your toe into evil. It’s all or nothing. And the HAT MAN plays for keeps.
